Sold Out
Rector Creek Vineyard is located north of Yountville along the Silverado Trail. A unique climate featuring a cooling afternoon breeze combined with Rector Creek’s rocky alluvial soils creates excellent growing conditions for the vines. As a result, the Cabernet Sauvignon from this vineyard exhibits graceful violet and rose petal aromatic, fine-grained tannins and abundant dark fruit flavors of blackberry and black raspberry.

Winemaker Notes
Bold, graceful and beautifully complex, this wine displays aromas of black cherry, molasses and allspice, as well as intriguing hints of rich, loamy earth and truffles. On the palate the lush berry flavors are generous and lifted, with notes of cocoa and wet slate minerality adding to the long, dynamic finish.
Production
2019 brought another exceptional vintage to Napa Valley, resulting in wines with alluring polish and poise! The season began with a wet winter followed by a mild spring. While this led to a slightly later-than-normal start to the season, ideal summer weather with no significant heat spikes ensured ideal flavor development, yielding complex and vibrant whites, and refined reds with elegant tannins, enticing aromatics and beautiful fruit flavors.
