Duckhorn Wine Company Welcomes Investment from GI Partners

St. Helena, CA and Menlo Park, CA, July 31, 2007 – Duckhorn Wine Company (Duckhorn), a collection of small winery estates focused on site-specific wines of distinction from the Napa and Anderson valleys, and GI Partners, a leading investment firm, today announced that GI Partners has made a controlling investment in Duckhorn.
Dan Duckhorn, co-founder and CEO of Duckhorn Wine Company, commented on the partnership, “The team at GI Partners shares our vision and commitment for producing excellent wines and we are thrilled to welcome them to the Duckhorn family.
